The Sushi Bar – A Popular Japanese Restaurant with Quality and Accessibility
The Sushi Bar has grown a lot since it started with just one outlet at Far East Plaza. Now, it has four outlets all over Singapore, so more people can enjoy it. This shows how much people love the food and service here.
The Sushi Bar is a fantastic place for all sorts of occasions. You can come here with friends, for a casual date, or to celebrate something special. People really like the fresh and top-quality ingredients they use, as well as the skilled sushi chefs who make amazing and beautiful sushi dishes.
They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from – sushi, sashimi, steak, and other western dishes. So, there’s something for everyone! Also, they have a nice selection of Japanese drinks like sake to make your dining experience complete.

Delicious Kaisen Chirashi Don and Tender Scallop Sashimi
One of their best dishes is the Kaisen Chirashi Don. It’s like an art piece with lots of fresh raw fish and seafood on top of sushi rice. You get salmon, tuna, yellowtail, swordfish, scallop, ikura, and tamago – all in one bowl!
The sashimi were cut into thick slices and tastes so fresh and good. It practically melts in your mouth and goes perfectly with the soft and tasty sushi rice. They even give you soy sauce and wasabi on the side, so you can add more flavour if you like.
The scallop sashimi deserves a special mention. It’s so tender and fresh, and the slight sweetness is simply delightful, leaving you wanting more.

The Best of Japan and the West – Sirloin Steak
If you like the mix of Japanese and Western flavors, you’ll love the Sirloin Steak. You can choose the size you want – 100g or 200g – depending on how hungry you are. They cook the steak just right, so it’s juicy and tender and melts in your mouth.
They also serve it nicely with fried garlic, spring onions, and ebi roe on the side, giving it a crunchy and savoury touch that goes so well with the steak.

The Salmon Aburi Roll
The Salmon Aburi Roll is a real treat for your taste buds! The top of the roll is lightly seared, giving it a wonderful smoky flavour that pairs perfectly with the tender raw salmon inside. They added mentaiko topping for an extra burst of umami, making it even more delicious.
It’s a mix of avocado, mayonnaise, and mentaiko with the torched and raw salmon that creates an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The sweetness and savory taste balance each other perfectly, making it truly satisfying. And it looks just as good as it tastes!
The Sushi Bar
The Sushi Bar is really known for the top-notch quality they deliver. Especially the freshness of their sashimi is amazing, a special shoutout to their scallop which I would consider one of the better ones that could be found in Singapore.
If you’re planning to visit The Sushi Bar, be sure to try their signature dishes like the Salmon Aburi Roll and Sirloin Steak. These dishes are a real treat for your taste buds and are sure to leave you satisfied. The Sushi Bar is one of my staple go to restaurants for Japanese food, I’ve only went to the Far East Plaza outlet so do share your views with us if you have any good or bad experiences with the other outlets!
