There’s also a cooked food station where you can grab ready-made favourites like fried chicken and tteokbokki. To complete the meal, free-flow drinks, watermelon, and ice cream are available, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

One of the highlights of the buffet is the Korean fried chicken. It’s crispy on the outside and tender inside, making it a pleasant surprise for a buffet setting. The chicken is flavourful and satisfying, though it leans slightly towards the savoury side.It’s definitely one of the better items here!

The oden, or Eomuk, is a simple yet comforting choice. It has a mild flavour that pairs well with other richer dishes. While it may not be the most exciting item on the menu, it’s nice to have as part of the buffet spread.

For those who enjoy lighter and healthier options, there’s a good variety of vegetables and mushrooms available. They add a nice balance to the heavier meats and work well with the hotpot broth.

The buffet includes a selection of chicken, pork, luncheon meat, and hotpot-style ingredients like crab sticks and fishballs. The meats grill well on the griddle, making them a great choice for those who enjoy the grilled meat experience.

If you’re happy with just the standard meats, you will find the chicken and pork to be good enough without the extra top-up.

The seafood platter includes prawns, mussels, clams, and squid. The prawns are fresh and tasty, while the mussels and squid cook well on the griddle. The clams, however, can have a bit of sand in them. If you enjoy seafood, there’s an option to add a seafood platter for $8 per platter.

Whilst the concept is similar to mookata, it does not have the marinated grilled meat intensity of mookata and is more of a blend of lightly grilled meat paired with hotpot!

The pork and chicken meats grill well and are a good enough for your meal. If you enjoy a variety of textures, the vegetable and mushroom selection pairs nicely with the hotpot broth, while the Shin Ramyun noodles add a comforting touch to the meal. The prawns from the seafood platter are fresh and juicy, making them one of the better seafood choices available.

The griddle was a little shallow so the broth dries out quite fast. The staff also took quite awhile to refill the broth. The meat goes better when grilled so don’t be too eager to fill the broth out to the maximum.
