Abundance started out as a home-based kitchen. It grew fast, picked up loyal fans along the way, and now runs a few outlets around Singapore. The Jalan Besar branch feels the most polished. It’s still casual, but you can tell some thought went into how the space looks and feels.
Clean Space with a Bit of Play

The interior is simple. White walls, clean lines, and a glowing neon bao sign give it some character. It’s quieter than the bright red setup at Tampines. Compared to the cosy vibe at Redhill, Jalan Besar feels more relaxed. A good place to sit down for lunch or an early dinner without feeling rushed.
What to Eat At Abundance

Start with the Gua Bao. A thick piece of braised pork belly sits inside a soft bun with crushed peanuts, pickled mustard greens, and fresh coriander. It’s soft, sweet and savoury all at once.

Try the Braised Beef Bowl if you want something more filling. It comes with beef shank, a fried sunny-side-up egg, and chilli sauce over pearl rice. The beef is soft, the egg adds richness, and the chilli gives it a bit of a kick.
Other things to try:
Peanut Ice Cream Roll – rolled up with peanut candy shavings and coriander inside a thin crepe. It’s light and sweet.
Taiwanese Craft Beers – they rotate often, and make a fun pairing with the food.
Abundance
Abundance at Jalan Besar gives you solid food without the fluff. Come for the Gua Bao, stay for the Beef Bowl, and if there’s space, grab a craft beer. Good for catchups, solo meals or a casual date. Just eat, drink and go.
