Burnt Cones is set to launch a new dessert collaboration with SōngHè Plus on 1 May 2026, introducing what is being positioned as Singapore’s first rice-based gelato. The launch will feature a special promotional price of $1 per scoop at selected outlets across the island for a limited time on the day of release.
The new flavour draws inspiration from rice and is designed to deliver a soft, chewy texture reminiscent of mochi, offering a distinct alternative to traditional dairy-based gelato. Participating locations include United Square, NEWest Mall, NUS, Sunset Way, and IOI Central Boulevard. Burnt Cones, known for its handcrafted gelato and caramelised cones made in-house, continues to expand its experimental approach by combining local ingredients with contemporary dessert techniques, reflecting an ongoing focus on texture-driven innovation within Singapore’s evolving gelato scene.
