Dahlia Dreams 2024 (滨海湾花园大丽花新春花卉2024) returns to the iconic Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay, bringing a spectacular floral extravaganza in celebration of the Chinese New Year. From 19th January to 25th February 2024, immerse yourself in the beauty of over a thousand dahlias, showcasing an array of shapes, sizes, and vibrant colours.
Captivating Highlights:
Majestic Dragon Display
Marvel at a close to 7-meter-tall dragon, stretching over 15 meters in length, adorned with meticulously arranged cut and preserved flowers in striking yellow and red hues. This grand centrepiece symbolizes the strength and beauty of the Year of the Dragon.
Dragon Lantern Sets
Explore four vibrant dragon lantern sets representing the elements of metal, water, fire, and earth. Each set adds a colourful touch to the festivities, creating a visual spectacle within the Flower Dome.
Symbolic Scene
Experience the interpretation of the Chinese saying 鱼跃龙门, meaning “carps leap over the dragon gate.” This scene embodies courage and the pursuit of greatness, spreading positivity to all visitors.
James Doran-Webb’s Dragon Sculpture
Witness the newest addition to James Doran-Webb’s zodiac character series in the Flower Dome—a towering dragon sculpture crafted from hardwood and recycled steel, enhancing the overall dragon theme with masterful artistry.
